The Fountain of Youth

I have a theory that human lifespan is going to be experiencing a sizable extension shortly.

Now, perhaps I have just been privileged with open minded/like minded people in my time here but I can't believe that anyone wouldn't want the chance to be young for a longer period of time.

I was speaking with two female coworkers today and they expressed first, distaste in this idea because of the danger it would pose to the human race and then ((what i suspect would be the real reason)) saying that it would get boring or you would need more money.

I don't understand how anyone could get bored of this world in 500 years. Nevermind, a mere 150 or 200.

People have been searching for the Fountain of Youth since the beginning of time what in the world would make you believe that people wouldn't jump on the chance of a cell regenerative therapy that would extend your lifespan considerably?
If it meant that I could be young lounger and not just get frail as I aged.

"Most people I know wouldn't wanna live past 60. They would just get bored"
what does this quote say to you?
I'd say this person knows terribly boring people. That honestly do not need to live in this world because we don't need minds like that.
Then this person began to talk about money again. Who the hell cares about money? really? if you live long enough there will always be more money.

So here is where I pose a few questions((and please send this to people I want a lot of answers. As many as I can get)):

Disregarding socioeconomicracialchaoneonoirwhatever reasons:

If there was an affordable therapy that could extend your youth/youthfulness((lets say around 25-30 ish)) until you were 60? and you'd probably live to be 150 would you?

200?
300?
500?
1000?

What if it wasn't so affordable?

How long do you think you could live before you got bored?
would you get bored?
What would be the hardest things about living for each of the lengths?

Not disregarding thatlonstringofnonsense:
All of the above plus:
What would happen to society as people lived longer?

I will follow this up with a post of my own about my place in this in a more substantial manner later.
